Job Summary
AI Automation Engineer responsible for designing, building, and deploying AI-driven automation solutions that boost efficiency and support business operations. Responsibilities include designing and shipping AI-driven automation (generative AI, conversational AI, and agentic workflows), building scalable applications like chatbots and agents, creating new capabilities for AI agents, integrating AI into existing systems via APIs and cloud services, identifying automation opportunities from business needs, and maintaining solutions through monitoring and iteration. Candidates should be proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python; have hands-on experience with LLMs and conversational AI built and operated in production; experience delivering AI-driven or workflow-based automation solutions; API/REST integration experience; comfort with major cloud platforms (e.g., GCP); ability to translate vague business requirements into end-to-end technical solutions; and fluent English for collaboration with international teams. Desirable include automation tooling, DevOps/CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and a proactive, curious mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Strong in JavaScript / TypeScript and/or Python
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and generative AI: prompting, building against model APIs, and shipping features on top of them
- Hands-on experience with conversational AI like chatbots, assistants, or voicebots you've actually built and run
- Experience building automation solutions, whether AI-driven, conversational, or workflow-based
- Hands-on with APIs and REST services, and integrating into existing systems
- Comfortable on a major cloud platform (e.g. GCP or similar providers)
- Can translate fuzzy business requirements into end-to-end technical solutions
- Fluent English, written and spoken, since we work with international teams
