Job Summary
AI & Automation Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automation and AI-driven workflows across Operations using n8n, Zendesk, and both self-hosted and cloud AI models. Collaborate with Product & Engineering and across departments to identify and deliver high-impact automation opportunities, improve CSAT, and reduce operational costs. Role is hands-on with end-to-end ownership, with potential to lead a small team in the future. Hybrid work arrangement with Berlin office or home office, and the option to work abroad within the EU for up to 60 days.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years in a hands-on automation, business systems / RevOps, integration, or comparable technical role
- Demonstrable track record of independently building and shipping production automations end to end
- Hands-on proficiency with workflow automation tools (e.g. n8n) and integration via APIs and webhooks
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI and a fast self-learner; any experience with self-hosted or cloud-based AI models (e.g. LLMs) is a plus
- Fluent in English and German
