Job Summary
Design and develop technical solutions by analyzing, reviewing, and optimizing Java and Spring Boot applications to reduce technical debt and enhance code quality. Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate code analysis, refactoring, and documentation while collaborating with engineering teams to identify performance bottlenecks. Contribute to CI/CD processes and document technical developments using JIRA, Confluence, and ALM tools. Ensure applications comply with cybersecurity standards and support production teams when resolving technical issues. This hybrid or remote position is based in Spain and requires full-time contract commitment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Software Developer or Code Analyst
- Strong experience with: Java
- Strong experience with: Java Database Connectivity
- Strong experience with: J2EE
- Strong experience with: Spring Boot
- Strong experience with: JavaScript
- Strong experience with: Maven
- Strong experience with: Node.js (JADE/Pug)
- Strong experience with: HTML
- Strong experience with: Oracle Database
- Strong experience with: REST APIs and Microservices
- Experience working with: Git
- Experience working with: CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with: DevOps practices
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as: GitHub Copilot
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as: Devin
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as: Similar AI coding assistants
- Proven experience improving code quality, reducing technical debt, and increasing development efficiency
- Strong knowledge of application security and code quality tools such as: SonarQube
- Strong knowledge of application security and code quality tools such as: Fortify
- Experience working in Agile software development environments
- Spanish: C1 minimum
- English: B1 minimum
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
- Full-time contract
- This is a hybrid or remote position based in Spain
