AI-Assisted Code Analyst (Java | Spring Boot | AI Tools)

Job Summary
Design and develop technical solutions for Trading Controls applications by analyzing, reviewing, and optimizing Java and Spring Boot code to reduce technical debt and enhance scalability. Leverage AI-powered tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate code analysis, refactoring, and documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify performance bottlenecks. Contribute to CI/CD processes, support backend and frontend development, and ensure applications meet cybersecurity and quality standards through tools such as SonarQube and Fortify. Document all technical developments using JIRA, Confluence, and ALM. This role requires a minimum of three years of experience in software development with strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs, and is based in Spain as a full-time hybrid or remote position.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Software Developer or Code Analyst
- Strong experience with Java
- Strong experience with Java Database Connectivity
- Strong experience with J2EE
- Strong experience with Spring Boot
- Strong experience with JavaScript
- Strong experience with Maven
- Strong experience with Node.js (JADE/Pug)
- Strong experience with HTML
- Strong experience with Oracle Database
- Strong experience with REST APIs and Microservices
- Experience working with Git
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with DevOps practices
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Devin
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as similar AI coding assistants
- Proven experience improving code quality, reducing technical debt, and increasing development efficiency
- Strong knowledge of application security and code quality tools such as SonarQube
- Strong knowledge of application security and code quality tools such as Fortify
- Experience working in Agile software development environments
- Spanish: C1 minimum
- English: B1 minimum
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
- Full-time contract
- Hybrid or remote position based in Spain
