Job Summary
Identify, evaluate, and implement AI solutions to improve manufacturing processes, productivity, and operational efficiency. Partner with business leaders to understand workflows and deliver measurable value through Generative AI, Machine Learning, and automation. Research, prototype, and deploy modern AI technologies including Large Language Models and Computer Vision. Design AI assistants, copilots, and intelligent workflows using Microsoft and cloud-based platforms. Develop enterprise Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and analytics supporting executive decision-making. Build and optimize data models, SQL queries, and APIs to enable AI and business intelligence initiatives. Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate solutions with ERP and manufacturing systems. Establish best practices for AI governance, data quality, and responsible usage. Manage initiatives from concept through deployment while measuring outcomes against KPIs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development, analytics, data engineering, AI, or business intelligence
- Demonstrated experience implementing AI solutions in business environments
- Strong Power BI development experience
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with Python and/or C#
- Experience consuming and developing REST APIs
- Experience integrating multiple business systems
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-directed with the ability to independently identify opportunities and execute projects
- Strong business acumen with a continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to travel as needed, but no more than 25%
