AI Applications Engineer - Finance

Hands-on AI applications engineering role supporting the CFO organization to design, build, and deploy AI-powered tools, automation, and data products that drive finance, accounting, investor relations, payroll, procurement, tax, and internal controls. You will own the finance intelligence ecosystem spanning multiple source systems, deliver dashboards and AI-enabled reports, and build live data pipelines with governance controls. The role emphasizes producing measurable business impact, partnering with CFO leadership, and shipping production-grade data tools and AI workflows using source systems like NetSuite, Navan, Tipalti, Carta, SugarCRM, and DealHub. Expect to work in a matrix structure, report to the head of Enterprise Applications and Digital Transformation, and collaborate with CFO stakeholders to align requirements with governance, security, and public company readiness. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of software/data/AI engineering experience, strong Python/data engineering skills, hands-on experience with LLMs and AI orchestration, and a proven ability to deliver data-backed applications with proper access control and governance.
