Job Summary
AI Application Engineer at Boeing Korea BKETC, onsite in Seoul. Develop, deploy, and maintain AI/ML pipelines and applications for aircraft manufacturing and factory digitalization; build software verification systems conforming to aviation safety requirements; collaborate with an international English-speaking team. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, data science, or a related field, hands-on experience delivering end-to-end AI solutions in production, and proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Golang. Skills in frontend (React/NextJS) or backend (Python/FastAPI), ML model serving (ONNX, PyTorch, TensorFlow), deployment with Kubernetes/Docker-Compose, and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Argo CD, Jenkins) are expected. Familiarity with ML model development and deployment, monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is desirable. Preferred candidates hold a Master’s/PhD and experience with speech-to-text/translation, LLM agent development, and OSS contributions. Travel up to 10% and relocation not negotiable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- Hands-on experiences with designing, developing and deploying end-to-end AI solutions in production environments
- Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Golang
- Experience in frontend development with modern framework (e.g. React, NextJS) or backend development with Python (e.g., FastAPI)
- Knowledge of ML model deployment tools and infrastructure-agnostic environments (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker-Compose)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Argo CD, Jenkins) and monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus)
- Knowledge of ML model development (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and deployment (e.g., ONNX)
- Experience with model serving and end-to-end AI solution deployment
- Preferred: Master’s or Ph.D. in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics
- Experience in speech-to-text and translation applications
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- CKA certification preferred
- Experience with LLM agent development is a plus
- Experience in optimizing end-to-end service performance including model serving is a plus
- Open source project participation is a plus
