Job Summary
AI Animator to lead the development and execution of hybrid animation workflows for an Australia-based, artist-led creative company expanding into anime production. Build and manage AI-assisted pipelines for animation generation, visual consistency, frame interpolation, upscaling, rotoscoping, and asset processing; train and fine-tune custom AI models; collaborate with artists to ensure outputs align with style guides; document workflows and maintain production-ready assets for compositing. Must have a strong portfolio of AI-assisted animation workflows and proficiency with tools like ComfyUI, Stable Diffusion, AnimateDiff, Automatic1111, EbSynth, LoRAs, ControlNet, IP-Adapter, and related platforms. Remote, full-time role with opportunities for pay raises and growth in a growing independent anime studio.
Required Qualifications
- Strong portfolio or demo reel demonstrating high-quality AI-assisted animation workflows
- Advanced proficiency with tools such as ComfyUI, Stable Diffusion, AnimateDiff, Automatic1111, EbSynth, or similar platforms
- Experience working with LoRAs, ControlNet, IP-Adapter workflows, or custom AI model configurations
- Strong understanding of digital video workflows, including frame rates, codecs, scaling, and compositing requirements
- Strong technical problem-solving and workflow optimization skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain organized pipeline systems in a remote environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Availability to work at least 5 days per week
