AI and Analytics Specialist - Digital Marketing

Job Summary

Build AI-enabled tools and workflows to improve campaign management efficiency and accelerate paid search advertising performance. Create scalable reporting, dashboards, and proactive monitoring alerts to provide visibility into campaign profitability and key performance indicators. Develop and optimize ad platform scripts and integrations to automate tasks, while directly managing a portfolio of paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising to drive conversions. Monitor data quality, investigate variances, and execute technical changes to support accurate reporting and faster, data-informed decisions. Serve as the primary technical resource for the team by providing internal support, training members on automation processes, and maintaining clear documentation for all technical workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Data Science, Computing Science, Business Technology Management, Management Information Systems, Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related analytical program
  • Experience using AI tools, automation, and database software for reporting, data manipulation, and workflow improvements
  • Ability to develop automation workflows, reports, dashboards, scripts, and technical integrations
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience working with complex formulas, PivotTables, data visualizations
  • Experience analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, performance opportunities, and actionable insights
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, synthesize complex analysis, and make actionable recommendations
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to important details
  • Sound judgement and strong data-driven decision-making ability
  • A collaborative and approachable working style, with the ability to effectively provide technical support to team members by troubleshooting tools, reporting, automation workflows, and data challenges
  • Natural curiosity and a strong problem-solving mindset, with a track record of fast learning and adapting to new platforms or methodologies
  • Full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week
  • Option to work hybrid from the Edmonton, Alberta office

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of PPC / SEM campaign management (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising) and marketing KPIs
  • Experience with ad platform APIs, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or other marketing analytics tools
  • Proficiency with Power BI for data visualization and business intelligence
  • Experience with attribution modelling, feed management, conversion tracking, data pipelines, or third-party PPC tools
