AHU Mechanical Engineer

AHU Mechanical Engineer responsible for leading mechanical structural design of air handling unit housings, including 3D modeling of sheet metal frames, panels, and support structures, with delivery of BOM, assembly drawings, and part drawings. Drive manufacturability and cost optimization through sheet metal folding, welding, and assembly processes; select materials and simplify structures to reduce costs. Lead performance and reliability validation via structural static simulations, pressure testing, and vibration testing; develop anti-corrosion schemes for corrosive environments. Design for installation and maintenance with removable panels, service doors, and filter-drawer rails; specify lifting points and load limits to mitigate on-site risks. Collaborate across departments to resolve sheet metal cracking and welding deformation issues; respond to after-sales feedback and drive design iterations. Produce standardized technical documents including design norms, FMEA reports, and maintenance manual structures to ensure traceability. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and explore new materials or processes for potential innovation.
