Job Summary
Accept and implement the athletic philosophy of Aspen High School while assisting the head coach in planning, directing, and leading an education-based program focused on athlete development. Attend all practices and competitions, supervise equipment distribution, and maintain appropriate oversight during locker rooms, events, and team transit. Ride with the team, ensure safe accommodations during out-of-area events, and guide players in upholding rules and dietary guidelines. Report scores and statistics on MaxPreps, assist with annual inventory, and maintain up-to-date certifications per CHSAA. This one-season part-time role runs from August 10 to October 28, 2026, with compensation by stipend. Candidates must meet CHSAA coaching requirements and align with district ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet the coaching requirements of CHSAA and/or the State Department of Education.
- Must align with the ethical standards & mission established by the Athletic Department.
- Must successfully complete all district employee paperwork & background check.
- Must maintain up to date yearly coach certifications per CHSAA.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience playing, and coaching in an Education Based athletic program preferred.
