Job Summary
Endovascular Neurosurgery opportunity with AdventHealth Kansas City Neurosciences program in Johnson County, KS. Board-certified or board-eligible neurosurgeon to treat complex neurovascular conditions such as stroke, aneurysms, AVMs and other cerebrovascular disorders. Join a multidisciplinary team with access to state-of-the-art technology in a tertiary care, comprehensive stroke center environment. Responsibilities include performing neuro-interventional and general neurosurgery procedures, operating within allocated block time for surgical procedures and clinic hours, and handling call duties (1 in 2 for Endovascular Stroke Intervention and 1 in 4 for Neurosurgery). The role supports a collaborative team with inpatient Neuro-Hospitalist coverage onsite 24/7, and offers substantial leave (30 days) plus holidays. Located at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in Merriam, KS, with a 504-bed hospital and a broad specialty network.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Neurosurgery
- Completed fellowship training in Endovascular Neurosurgery
- Eligible for Kansas medical licensure
- Proficiency in performing neuro-interventional and general neurosurgery procedures
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, whole-person care
