Job Summary
Join AdventHealth Shawnee Mission as an Endovascular Neurosurgeon to treat complex neurovascular conditions such as stroke, aneurysms, and AVMs. The ideal candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible in Neurosurgery with fellowship training in Endovascular Neurosurgery, and eligible for Kansas medical licensure. Work in a multidisciplinary Neurosciences program with access to state-of-the-art technology in a tertiary care, comprehensive stroke center environment. Practices include block time for surgical procedures and clinic hours, with call expectations of 1 in 2 for Endovascular Stroke Intervention and 1 in 4 for Neurosurgery, plus additional compensation for extra duties. The team includes dedicated MA, RN, and APP support; inpatient neuro-hospitalist coverage is available 24/7. Provides 30 days of annual leave and six holidays. Focus on patient-centered, whole-person care and collaboration within a larger AdventHealth network.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Neurosurgery
- Completed fellowship training in Endovascular Neurosurgery
- Eligible for Kansas medical licensure
- Proficiency in performing neuro-interventional and general neurosurgery procedures
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
