Job Summary
Sign-off on all red 'X' and circle red 'X' conditions for aircraft systems, components, airframes, power-trains, power-plants, armament, electrical, and avionics. Determine requirements for Maintenance Test Flights and Maintenance Operational Checks while interpreting inspection criteria for maintenance staff. Utilize precision measuring tools, gages, and alignment fixtures to conduct inspections. Maintain current technical libraries, aircraft forms, and records; assist Weight and Balance technicians in completing documentation per directives and manuals. Establish maintenance quality control processes, procedures, standards, measures, and reports for all support activities. Conduct technical inspector training and input OJT data into the learning management system.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as an AH-64 MDS Aircraft Technical Inspector
- Five (5) years' experience maintaining specific or similar Mission Design Series (MDS)
- Able to use the Automated Weight and Balance Software (AWBS)
- Graduate of a US Military Aircraft Maintenance Course or civilian A&P equivalent with a minimum of 5 years' experience
- Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation
- Proficient in MS Office software
- Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner
- Possess a valid US issued driver's license and passport
- Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire
- Clean criminal record with no prior convictions
- Pass a drug test
- Compliance with Saudi Labor Law
