AGS Training Services HBI New Product Introduction (NPI) Instructor

Job Summary
Deliver specialized New Product Introduction (NPI) technical training in-house and at customer locations, managing classroom and lab activities to ensure course objectives are met. Learn new tools under development, gain experience on startup and sustaining production tasks, and develop comprehensive training curriculum, student guides, and supporting materials. Coordinate structured factory on-the-job training and mentor less senior instructors on class delivery and technical development. Manage multiple projects of diverse scope, including product development process (PDP) activities for Phase Gate 3 or earlier tools, and create documentation to address gaps in released materials. This hybrid role requires ~45% learning new tools and course material development, ~35% delivering training or coordinating factory OJT, and ~20% other activities. Position involves domestic and international travel up to 35% of the time and may include off-shift hours and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in engineering, education, or training, or equivalent military experience
- 4 years of professional semiconductor equipment experience in installation, programming, safety, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, and repair of semiconductor machinery equipment
- Experience following manuals, specifications, blueprints, and schematics
- Experience using hand tools, measuring instruments, and testing equipment
- Experience with robots, programmable controllers, power supplies, pneumatics, vacuum systems, power distributions, facilities, high voltage systems, high current systems, and robot controllers
- 2 years of formal or informal experience in education, performance-based training, or training/presentation delivery to external customers
- Ability to travel for up to 35% per year

Desired Qualifications
- Nationally recognized certification in Instructional Design
- 2 years of formal or informal experience in curriculum development and/or instructional design
- Attaining Friesen, Kaye and Associates (FKA) instructional designing certification
- Experience with AMAT Semiconductor Equipment
- Experience with Bonding equipment
- Experience in e-Learning
- Experience in videography and photography
- Experience in application or usage of advanced technologies (AR, VR, CGI)
- Knowledge of MS Windows applications and computer networking
- Experience in application or usage of advanced technologies (AR, VR, CGI)
