Job Summary
Lead Sales Agronomist responsible for growing a sales territory of seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products to growers; mentors and supports newer sales representatives while managing and expanding their own customer base; collaborates with management to execute territory growth strategies, contributes to sales initiatives and marketing strategies, and represents the company with a strong commitment to customer success. Must have 5–10 years of agronomy sales experience, deep knowledge of seed/fertilizer/chemical sales to growers, and a B.S. in Agriculture, Ag Business, or related field. Base salary $60,000–$80,000/year with commission and benefits; potential for senior management advancement.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Agriculture, Ag Business, or a related field (required)
- 5–10 years of proven success in agronomy sales, preferably with mentoring or supporting other sales professionals
- Deep understanding of seed, fertilizer, and chemical sales directly to growers
