Job Summary

A Bachelor’s or Associate degree in agricultural/biological sciences or 2–4 years of equivalent experience is preferred, along with a valid driver’s license and a pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain one. Required Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in an agricultural or biological science, or 2–4 years of equivalent hands-on experience
  • Demonstrated ability to operate a variety of agricultural equipment safely (tractors, sprayers, planters, combines, forklifts)
  • Working knowledge of agronomy, crop production, plant development, and/or weed management
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines independently including initiating, executing, and troubleshooting field tasks without close supervision
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working with a diverse team across local and departmental levels
  • Proficiency with standard software and willingness to learn internal data systems
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors for extended periods in varying conditions, including extended hours and occasional weekends or overnight stays during peak season
  • Preferred: Experience with agricultural research equipment or small plot experimental design
  • Commercial pesticide applicator license (or ability to obtain one)
  • Prior experience in a leadership or crew supervision role
