Job Summary
Mechanical and electrical maintenance of agricultural application equipment, semi-tractors, trucks, and facility repair. Operate self-propelled equipment to apply fertilizer and chemicals to crops during the growing season from April through July. Use provided software for field mapping, crop planning, and record keeping while making deliveries of liquid and dry products via pickup, straight, and semi-trucks. Travel between cooperative locations and customer operations daily, communicating effectively with agronomists and team members. Additional hours worked during peak seasons in May and June is expected.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of prior mechanic experience
- Possess a Wisconsin Commercial Pesticide Operators license or ability to obtain one
- Clean driving record
- Conscientious attitude

- Thorough knowledge of agronomic crop production practices
- Excellent communication skills

- Computer skills adequate to operate equipment field computers
