Job Summary

Lead efforts in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new employees while fostering a culture of continuous learning through training and development. Manage employee performance by communicating expectations, providing constructive feedback, and addressing areas for improvement to maintain high retention. Develop and implement landscape agronomy plans for assigned branches, including schedules, equipment, materials, and subcontractors, alongside integrated pest management strategies for turf, ornamentals, and trees. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor agronomic issues, analyze data, and communicate findings with stakeholders. Maintain accurate records of pesticide usage and regulatory compliance, ensuring all staff hold valid applicator licenses. Support the Branch Manager with budget development, cost analysis, and product selection. Follow all labor laws, safety policies, and procedures to ensure safe working conditions.

Required Qualifications

  • Green Industries Best Management Practices (GI-BMP) Certification
  • CPCO (Certified Pest Control Operator) certification
  • Valid US driver's license (or equivalent) and meet Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) verification requirements
  • 5 years of experience in agronomy, sports turf management, or related field

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in landscape management, horticulture, sports turf management, or a related field
  • 2 years of leadership or management experience
