Job Summary
Manage sales processes, including orders, field plans, and delivery tickets in Agvance software, while maintaining grower and farm data structures in precision ag platforms. Oversee the branch's 4R Retailer Certification and organize soil sampling requests and results. Conduct business with grower customers via phone and counter sales, collect as-applied data and satellite imagery, and utilize the myFS platform to enhance the producer experience. Requires college-level agriculture education, GIS familiarity, and 2 years in customer-facing roles. Willingness to work extra hours during spring and fall planting seasons is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of college or other courses in agriculture
- Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Working knowledge of general office procedures and computer software, with the ability to learn new applications
- 2 years in a customer-facing role
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- A knack for relationship building and problem-solving
- Ability to work alone or with a team
- Willingness to work extra hours in the spring and fall planting seasons
