Job Summary
Agriculturist responsible for providing agronomic expertise to growers for a high-quality beet crop and maximizing recoverable sugar per acre. Key duties include leading a positive safety-focused culture aligned with company values, advising growers to optimize beet production and reduce costs, maintaining Grower Practice System and up-to-date knowledge of research/technology, assisting with new technology adoption, supporting harvest equipment/techniques to maximize sugar recovery, ensuring shareholder compliance with company policies, supervising receiving-station staff during harvest, and coordinating stock transfers for Treasury approval. Requires a four-year degree in Agronomy/Ag Economics or related field with 2–3 years of related experience; effective oral/written communication, supervisory ability, and relationship-building with growers are essential. A valid driver’s license is required; CCA certification preferred.
