Job Summary

Perform on-site diagnostics and repairs on agricultural, turf, and compact construction equipment, including established Ag Management Solutions products. Support customer clinics, explain maintenance concerns directly to clients, and document all service work on orders. May promote service programs and manage seasonal parts inventory through stocking processes with the Parts Department. Maintain current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products while completing required Service EDUCATE training programs. Adhere to all safety rules, complete assigned reports, and account for time and materials used. This role requires a minimum of two years of hands-on service repair experience and strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic abilities. A valid driver's license is required, with a CDL and forklift license preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on service repair experience
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic abilities
  • Proficient with diagnostic tools and basic computer functions
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lift 75lbs. repeatedly and operate diagnostic equipment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Participates in required Service EDUCATE training programs
  • Supports customer clinics
  • Reviews and explains any maintenance, repair, or other service concerns directly with customers and documents them on work orders
  • Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
  • Follows all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments
  • Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
  • Accounts for all time and materials used in performing assigned duties

Desired Qualifications

  • Licensed technician (310T, 310S, 421A, or 425A)
  • Advanced or Master Service Technician certification or equivalent experience
  • Experience with John Deere equipment and systems
  • CDL and forklift licenses
  • Background in agricultural, turf, or compact construction equipment
  • Apprenticeship training or technical diploma
