Job Summary
Seasonal, exempt Agriculture Program Field Coordinator in Albuquerque, NM, overseeing the Middle Rio Grande Farm Program. Responsible for coordinating planting/harvest calendars, managing crew logistics, supervising field crew, delivering program outcomes aligned with PYD principles, and ensuring safety and risk management across operations. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules and timelines, communicating with crew and partners, collecting field data and reporting progress, managing vehicles, tools, and equipment, providing technical training in planting, irrigation, weed management, harvest, and related tasks, reviewing timesheets, and supporting program administration and stakeholder engagement. Requires experience in youth development, supervisory experience, knowledge of small-scale agricultural practices and soil health, strong organizational skills, and ability to work outdoors in a team setting. Education preferred in college/vocational fields related to education, natural resources, or agriculture; work experience may substitute for formal education.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with positive youth development and working with youth ages 17-25
- Experience overseeing staff and projects
- Experience with small-scale agricultural work and regenerative soil health principles
- Experience tracking and reporting program metrics
- Experience coordinating logistics, scheduling, and coordinating vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work with diverse groups and maintain safety and risk management
- Ability to supervise and train field crew members
- Ability to climb, lift up to 50 pounds, and operate farm equipment as needed
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Minimum 21 years of age by first date of employment

- Must be able to obtain any required certifications or clearances per program needs
