Job Summary
Operate spraying, spreading and tendering equipment to apply agronomy products for growers; maintain and report on equipment usage; ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards; maintain customer relations and provide guidance on product handling; obtain and maintain required licenses (CDL-A with HazMat and Tanker endorsements, Custom Applicator’s License 1A); perform maintenance and data-record-keeping; work with location staff to improve efficiency and service.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or GED
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (A) with Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements
- Ability to obtain and maintain Custom Applicator’s License (1A)
- Ability to learn and operate sprayer, spreader, and tender trucks
- Ability to operate agronomy plant and perform maintenance
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to react to change and handle tasks as assigned
- Maintain a certified applicators license
- Greet customers professionally and ensure safe product handling procedures
- Maintain equipment and meet federal, state, and OSHA regulations
