Job Summary
Agriculture Banking Officer responsible for administering and supporting Agriculture Lending activities to achieve lending goals. Develops and maintains a portfolio of commercial loan accounts (secured and unsecured) within lending limits, makes loan decisions or recommendations, and provides feedback on business management and financial matters to strengthen customer relationships. Drives new business through prospecting and referrals, cross-sells Nicolet products to establish comprehensive banking relationships, manages ongoing portfolio activities (renewals, past dues, collateral exceptions, overdrafts, collections if necessary), analyzes customers’ financial position to structure credits and, where appropriate, finalize credit relationships. Participates in community affairs to enhance visibility and opportunities; stays informed on regulations, policies, and general economic trends. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance
- 3-5 years of experience in agricultural lending, financial statement analysis and credit administration required
- Prudent underwriting standards and regulatory implications knowledge
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time to meet with potential business partners and monitor loan relationships across NE and/or Central Wisconsin
