Job Summary
Direct and manage the agricultural science program for the assigned campus. Provide students with learning activities to develop competencies for success, oversee SAEP and supervise school farm, serve as advisor to the local FFA chapter, collaborate with special education to modify curricula as needed, plan and deliver lesson plans reflecting district guidelines, supervise teacher aides and volunteers, use technology to strengthen teachinglearning, assess student achievement, sponsor extracurricular activities, and manage budgeting and inventory for the program.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training or work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI)
- Demonstrated competency in agricultural science
- Experience: Student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience
