Job Summary
Agricultural Salesperson responsibilities include managing and growing the customer base within a defined sales area, identifying new customers, maintaining customer information, and communicating with management. The role involves demonstrating new/used equipment, staying current on product features, following the defined sales process, coordinating with store and corporate sales managers to set goals and budgets, understanding financing options and credit policies, and collaborating with parts, service, and other locations. Requires building strong customer relationships, excellent communication, ability to meet sales goals, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional extended hours; HS diploma or equivalent required.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years equipment sales experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficient knowledge of data entry and paperwork handling
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends
- Clear and proactive communication skills
- Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming practices (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Confidentiality and integrity in handling customer information
