Job Summary
Agricultural Salesperson responsible for managing an existing customer base and attracting new lifetime customers within defined sales area; responsibilities include identifying new customers, maintaining customer information, developing plans for the defined sales area, maintaining product knowledge, conducting customer events and demonstrations, supporting annual sales goals and budgeting, following credit and payment policies, assisting with financing options, and acting as primary contact between customers and Reynolds Farm Equipment for deliveries and related needs. Strong emphasis on building relationships, effective communication, confidentiality, and adherence to corporate values; requires 1+ years of equipment sales experience and a high school diploma or equivalent, plus proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office; able to work extended hours and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years equipment sales experience; demonstrated experience consistently meeting performance metrics preferred
- Proficient knowledge of data entry/keyboarding skills; Communicates effectively verbally and written while working cooperatively in a team environment; skills in computing full details and proper paperwork without hesitation
- Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferred
- Exceptional ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions; experience using sales workflow applications preferred
- Knowledge of office and phone procedures; Clear and proactive communication skills along with exceptional ability to use communication systems with quality and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends and in a fast-paced environment; adaptable and flexible
- Requires attention to detail and being careful along with being thorough in completing tasks
- Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying and to actively look for ways to help others
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Experience and understanding of mechanical/technical terms
- Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports and commission reports
- Excellent negotiation/conflict resolutions skills
- Reliable transportation to arrive on time
- Requires being reliable, responsible, accountable, and dependable in fulfilling obligations
- Unwavering commitment to confidentiality
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
