Job Summary
Agricultural Sales Representative needed to cultivate new business with farmers and ag businesses, guiding clients from concept to completion of building projects. Responsibilities include designing and planning with clients, collaborating with engineers/contractors/internal teams, representing at tradeshows and events, keeping projects moving with top-notch customer satisfaction, assisting with permitting/site selection/approvals, and maintaining relationships for future expansion and renovation projects. Ideal candidates have an agricultural background (dairy experience a plus), strong sales/negotiation/relationship skills, superb organization, the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Procore a bonus), a willingness to travel locally, and a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in sales, marketing, business, or ag-related field (Associates Degree a plus)
- Minimum 3+ years in agricultural sales, construction, or related experience
- Agricultural background preferred; dairy experience a big plus
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced setting
- Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office; Procore experience bonus
- Willingness to travel locally and attend industry events
- Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License
