Job Summary

Field customer inquiries and respond to bank personnel regarding collateral and agricultural loans. Disburse loan proceeds, secure collateral and loan information, and prepare loan documents while completing quality control duties. Collaborate with the lending team to close approved loans, audit closing documents for accuracy, and order third-party reports to streamline the process. Manage loan files in Kadince, monitor expiration dates for documents and insurance, and coordinate UCC filings. Handle modifications and extensions of existing loans, ensure compliance with all banking regulations, and complete post-close quality control requirements. Maintain accurate records and facilitate smooth loan servicing and transmission to Credit Administration.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Finance, Business Administration, a related field, or a commensurate combination of education and experience
  • A minimum of one year of related experience
  • Basic understanding of loan processing and financial documentation
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to remain organized and produce accurate, efficient work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers at all levels
  • Ability to complete standard calculations and apply basic mathematical concepts in practical situations
  • Ability to interpret various ratios and relationships inherent in common or specialized financial and data-driven reports
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
  • A positive and proactive approach to work, demonstrating enthusiasm, adaptability, and the ability to maintain composure and professionalism in stressful or adverse conditions
  • Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to analyze potential project outcomes with the adaptability to redirect attention as needed to meet targets and deadlines
  • Proficient computer literacy, including comfort with Microsoft systems and Office Suite
  • Intermediate typing skills to meet the needs of this position
  • Current driver's license and reliable transportation with appropriate insurance coverage
  • The ability to drive occasionally in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities
  • The ability to work with minimal or no supervision

Desired Qualifications

  • Two or more years of experience in banking, lending, or a related field
