Job Summary
Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, diagnose psychiatric and substance use disorders, and provide evidence-based psychotherapy including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and dialectical behavioral therapy. Manage therapeutic caseloads for individual, family, and group sessions while collaborating with the Inter-Multi-Disciplinary Team to develop person-centered care plans. Act as an advocate to help patients access resources, confront personal issues, and coordinate care with primary providers and payers. Practice under clinical supervision to evaluate patient risk and implement mitigation plans ensuring community safety.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) in an education program accredited by the council on social work education and approved by the secretary based upon nationally recognized standards
- Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License
- Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker Temporary License
- 2 years In the field or in a related area
- Master's Degree in Social Work
- Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker Associate License
- Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker Associate License
- Master's Degree in Family therapy
- Washington Marriage and Family Therapist License
- Master's Degree in Counseling or related field
- Washington Mental Health Counselor Associate License
- Master's Degree in Counseling, Counseling Psychology or related field
- Washington Mental Health Counselor License
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of Ambulatory clinic or hospital
- 2 years of Hospital experience
- 1 year of Master's level practicum in a behavioral health setting in an accredited college or university internship
- Additional experience in substance use treatment setting
- 2 years of related experience
- 1 year of Master's level practicum in a behavioral health setting in an accredited college or university internship
- Additional experience in substance use treatment setting
