Job Summary
Coach teams and leaders to improve delivery performance by identifying blockers, constraints, and flow issues across teams and systems. Apply systems thinking, Lean, TPS, and Kata to optimise flow across value streams and portfolios while challenging leadership constructively where needed. Build sustainable internal coaching capability by working hands-on with teams initially before influencing at wider organisational and portfolio levels. Work onsite in Lyon Monday through Wednesday in a hybrid arrangement within an R&D-driven, AI-powered biopharma organisation focused on oncology, rare diseases, neurology, and vaccines.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in Transformation Coaching, Agile Coaching, Lean Coaching, or similar
- Proven ability to deliver measurable impact in complex organisations
- Strong grounding in systems thinking, Lean / TPS / Kata
- Experience working hands-on with teams before moving into broader system or portfolio-level influence
- Confidence, credibility, and the ability to challenge constructively
- A pragmatic, adaptable, non-theoretical approach
- Candidates must be equally capable of working in English and French
- All candidates must have current authorisation to work unrestricted in France
- Candidates required onsite in Lyon Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday every week
- Candidates able to commit to long-term engagements

- Heavily framework-led (for example SAFe-only or Scrum-only)
- More academic than operational
- Strong on theory but light on delivery impact
- Reliant on cookie-cutter coaching approaches
