Job Summary
Agile Software Developer on the ONELOUDER program at Fort Meade, focusing on modernizing a legacy operational system with Java Spring Boot microservices on AWS. Responsibilities include delivering software iteratively in an Agile model, building REST services, designing microservice architectures, integrating with NoSQL/MongoDB, implementing CI/CD pipelines with Maven, GitLab, and GitOps, and ensuring security within a classified SCIF environment. Requires active TS/SCI clearance with FS Polygraph and Counterintelligence investigation within the last 5 years. Senior-level experience (9+ years with BS or 7+ years with MS) in DoD/IC classified development; on-site work in a classified facility. Proficiency across cloud-native development, CI/CD, and Agile delivery; ability to work with stakeholders and contribute across the full software delivery lifecycle. The role emphasizes secure coding, authentication patterns (OAuth/OIDC), automated testing (Playwright, Cucumber), and containerized delivery (Kubernetes, Docker). Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 annually, with comprehensive military-grade benefits and a strong emphasis on security compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- FS Polygraph
- Counterintelligence Investigation completed within last 5 years
- 9+ years of software development experience with a Bachelor's degree OR 7+ years with a Master's degree
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, or Python
- Microservice architectures
- CI/CD tools: AWS tools, Maven, GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, Docker
- Database design: NoSQL or MongoDB query and schema design
- OAuth/OIDC implementation
- Playwright and Cucumber test automation frameworks
- Experience in DoD/IC classified development environments
- On-site in a classified facility at Fort Meade
- Strong communication with stakeholders and team members
- Secure coding standards for classified IC environments
