Job Summary
Write Java Spring Boot microservice applications on AWS using Python to optimize Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, and S3. Build REST services that filter complex data objects and implement CI/CD pipelines with Maven, GitLab, and GitOps. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver software through agile development cycles. This role modernizes a legacy operational system using microservices-based architecture. Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with full scope polygraph and U.S. citizenship.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- 9 years of relevant experience (with Bachelor's degree)
- 7 years of relevant experience (with Master's degree)
- 11 years of relevant experience (with Associate's degree)
- 13 years of experience (with high school diploma/GED)
- Proficient in Software development process
- Programming
- Practice software quality through tools and processes
- Develop software solutions
- Design, develop, modify codes to support system requirements
- Assist in developing innovative approaches
Desired Qualifications
- Java, Spring boot or python
- JSON Schema
- Microservice architectures
- CI/CD Tools: AWS tools, Maven, Gitlab & GitOps; Kubernetes, docker, Ansible
- Database : NoSQL / MongoDB / DynamoDB Query and Schema Design
- OAuth/OIDC Implementation experience
- Test frameworks and automation to include Cypress and Cucumber
