Job Summary
Monitor the aggregate tower to ensure safe and efficient operation, conducting routine inspections and reporting equipment faults immediately. Manage aggregate deliveries by verifying accuracy, checking documentation, and passing paperwork to the Administration team. Maintain excellent housekeeping standards within the plant area while escalating stock shortages or raw material concerns to Production, Maintenance, and Administration. Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement activities. Requires a current Shovel Loader Licence and FLT, with 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 3:00pm) at the Maltby site.
Required Qualifications
- Current Shovel Loader Licence and FLT
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when completing paperwork
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping
- Reliable, dependable and able to work as part of a wider operational team
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing, quarry, aggregates or heavy industrial environment
- Experience operating mobile plant
- Knowledge of stock control or material handling processes
