Aggregate Lab Technician

Job Summary
Set up, calibrate, and operate laboratory equipment including fine and coarse aggregate shakers, ovens, washers, and balance scales. Collect and test quarried product samples to verify conformity to specifications using sieve analysis, wash tests, crush counts, and unit weight measurements. Record test results on standardized forms and write detailed test reports describing procedures used. Clean laboratory equipment and maintain instrument calibration. River Asphalt, LLC, a division of H&K Group, Inc., seeks this technician for quality control, process control, and product development within their asphalt operations. A Level 1 certification is preferred, though training will be provided.
