Job Summary
Agentic AI Platform and Enablement Manager at SAP leads a team of enabling engineers to drive adoption of the Kyma-based Agentic AI platform across SAP, enabling 5,000+ engineers to build, deploy, and manage agentic AI microservices on the CPIT Agent Platform. The role combines platform strategy with hands-on technical leadership, focusing on Developer Experience, platform reliability, and scalable enablement programs. You will partner with platform engineering, product owners, and architects to evolve the Kyma-based platform with enterprise-grade security, analyze usage metrics to improve onboarding and tooling, and deliver reference applications, AI-based enablement content, and workshops. Responsibilities include defining and executing the enablement roadmap, mentoring a team of 10 engineers, contributing to the platform roadmap, developing tooling and documentation, and ensuring governance and best practices across agentic AI services. The position emphasizes collaboration with architects, stakeholder management across lines of business, and enabling SAP engineers through scalable enablement artifacts. Qualifications emphasize advanced degrees, leadership, Kyma/Kubernetes/microservices expertise, Agentic AI frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI), 1,000+ developer enablement outcomes, Python and devcontainers proficiency, AgentOps and MLflow concepts, Agile/SAFe experience, and familiarity with CPIT/AIFactory Golden Path. This role sits within SAP’s Enterprise AI CoE and leverages SAFe/agile practices, with a focus on building an AI platform-enabled developer ecosystem and governance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven leadership of technical teams, focusing on delivery, mentoring, and performance
- Deep expertise in Kyma, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture
- Strong grasp of Agentic AI concepts, frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI), and standards (MCP, A2A) to drive platform capabilities
- Demonstrated success enabling large developer communities (1000+) via documentation, workshops, and tooling
- Very Deep Proficiency in Python and IDE handling with devcontainers
- Very deep knowledge around Agentic AI lifecycle management – e.g. AgentOps via Mlflow: agent tracing, evaluation and trace labeling
- Agile/SAFe experience
- SAP AI experience is a plus
- Knowledge of CPIT agent platform and AIFactory Golden Path is a big plus
