Job Summary
Versatile Accounts Payable professional to support Payments team, stepping in during vacations or peak workloads and handling payments for Company 01 and joint venture activities for at least two weeks per month; will also perform a variety of AP tasks such as transitioning vendors from cheques to EFT, processing urgent payment requests, tracking lien waivers, managing the payments inbox, analyzing management accounts and RBQ licenses, recovering credits, and entering/analyzing invoices. The role requires autonomy, resourcefulness, and the ability to adapt to evolving AP needs, with a hybrid work model in Levis or Montreal.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Accounts Payable
- Ability to support multiple sub-teams during vacations/high workload
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to learn quickly
- Attention to detail in payments and analyses
- Ability to contact vendors and explain processes (e.g., EFT transition)
