Job Summary
Create complex manufacturing operation sheets for aeronautical engine parts and assemblies. Interpret and validate technical requirements from drawings, models, and customer specifications. Define tooling for part assembly and control in collaboration with related services. Coordinate production and development projects while introducing new products through strict quality processes. Work with machinists and inspectors to refine methods and address development issues. Provide technical support to the manufacturing workshop and external suppliers. Establish work standards to improve process quality and robustness. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. This role supports the delivery objectives of the manufacturing center within a team of process planners, NC programmers, and special process specialists.
Required Qualifications
- College diploma in manufacturing or mechanical design
- 3-5 years of minimum experience as a Process planner
- Experience as a machinist (CNC and/or conventional)
- Mastery of Catia V5 software
- Knowledge of SAP, PLM
- Mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite and MS project
- Teamwork, autonomy, good communication, attention to detail
- Knowledge of technical terms in English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms
- Ability to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues
- Completion of a criminal background check
- Obtaining all necessary clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods
