Job Summary
Agent in Training to join the Muskegon, MI Farmers Insurance agency. Identify and engage new prospects, consult with individuals and businesses to determine coverage needs, and cross-sell Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial insurance while building long-term client relationships. Participate in comprehensive training with mentorship, pursue advancement toward agency ownership, and leverage CRM tools to track leads, follow-ups, and renewals. Requires strong communication and negotiation skills, willingness to learn, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. Base salary with unlimited commissions, performance bonuses, paid training, and career growth opportunities within the Farmers Insurance brand.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year sales, customer service, or insurance experience (preferred)
- Enthusiastic communication and negotiation skills
- Confidence on the phone and in closing sales
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take coaching
- Stellar organization and drive to get things done
- Bilingual skills—a huge plus!
