Job Summary
Manage site works safely and efficiently to ensure project delivery to programme, budget, quality, and environmental standards. Take ownership of the safe and successful delivery while maintaining strong relationships with the client, Commercial team, Engineers, and Quantity Surveyors. Develop and implement project plans, prepare procurement schedules, and maintain accurate site diaries and records. Act as the point of contact for the client, chair weekly site meetings, and produce accurate monthly reports. Identify value engineering opportunities to improve outcomes and reduce costs while maintaining effective cost control. This role is based in Tilbury within Ferrovial Construction's Infrasolutions subsidiary.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a site management role within the construction industry
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Experience leading project teams in a construction environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Applied commercial and contractual knowledge
- Experience operating in a cost-conscious environment
- Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering
- Relevant project experience
- Computer literacy
- Valid CSCS card
Desired Qualifications
- Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers or equivalent
