Job Summary
Analyze technical documentation, drawings, and engineering data to define installation and assembly methods for avionics systems. Develop, modify, and maintain work instructions and manufacturing documentation while defining assembly sequences, tooling, and necessary resources. Provide technical support during production issues and analyze non-conformities to propose corrective solutions and process improvements. Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Configuration Management teams to support engineering changes and ensure methods comply with technical, quality, and aerospace certification requirements. Participate in design reviews to provide feedback on manufacturability and installability.
Required Qualifications
- DEC or degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing methods, production, assembly, or technical support within the aerospace industry
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation
- Knowledge of avionics systems, aerospace wiring (EWIS), and installation methods
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop practical technical solutions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- French proficiency
- Functional English depending on the position requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of CAD/PLM tools and document management systems
