Job Summary
Conduct pre-flight passenger and baggage control at airport security checkpoints, scanning items with X-ray machines and metal detectors to identify prohibited articles. Verify boarding pass validity, provide professional information with integrity, and protect restricted zones while applying all regulations with vigilance. Manage conflicts and ensure exceptional service to travelers in both French and English. This role requires a Canadian citizen or permanent resident aged 19 or older with bilingual verbal and written proficiency, a secondary diploma, and a clean criminal record. Candidates must possess the physical ability to lift up to 10 kg and work shifts including mornings, afternoons, and nights, seven days a week. Successful completion of a paid training program and certification in Screening Officer Foundations is required before starting.
Required Qualifications
- 19 ans ou plus

- acuité visuelle (incluant la perception des couleurs) et auditive
- capacité à soulever/pousser/tirer des objets jusqu'à 10 kg
- se pencher, s'accroupir, s'agenouiller ainsi que s'asseoir/se tenir debout/marcher pendant des périodes allant jusqu'à 2 heures
- disponibilité pour travailler le matin, l'après-midi et la nuit
- postes à pourvoir 24 heures sur 24 et 7 jours sur 7
- base à l'aéroport international de Whitehorse (YXY)
- demande d'habilitation de sécurité pour le transport (TSC)
- réussir le cours SOF (Screening Officer Foundations)
