Job Summary
Entry-level Agency Services Representative responsible for supporting the commercial lines division, learning the business of insurance, and assisting with electronically marketing a client’s account with various insurance carriers to obtain the best coverage and price. The role involves working with a primary trainer initially, with opportunities to assist multiple account managers as experience grows, exposure to different levels of insurance knowledge and techniques, and potential for career advancement. Ideal candidates are customer-focused, team-oriented, detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; college degree is preferred. Location is Cordova, TN; the position is full-time, M-F, non-exempt.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional office experience with a demonstrated record of career progression/additional responsibility; or a college degree, preferred
- Demonstrated computer proficiency – Microsoft Word & Excel at a minimum
- Must be able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Must be customer-focused and team-oriented
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given and standard accepted practices
