Job Summary
Agency Relations Manager responsible for growing and developing a profitable Texas territory by prospecting and strengthening relationships with independent agents, expanding agency partnerships, coordinating with product, pricing, and agency management teams, and driving market presence. Key duties include representing the company at trade association meetings, implementing best practices for agency operations, tailoring sales approaches to differences between small and large agencies, identifying growth opportunities, initiating systematic marketing processes within each agency, influencing sales through the agency distribution, articulating a solution-oriented sales process, maintaining proactive follow-up with agents and teams, developing strategic agency-management plans, and expanding Safepoint’s market share through active engagement at trade shows and events. Requires ability to travel within the assigned territory, conduct face-to-face meetings, and maintain knowledge of product and pricing changes; based in the home office with travel supporting territory growth.
Required Qualifications
- College Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5-7 years of related P&C territory management experience
- In-depth Property and Casualty Insurance industry knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of Personal and Commercial Lines underwriting guidelines
- Strong computer skills
