Job Summary
The Project Manager role at Performance Contracting Group involves providing project management support to commercial projects, including active participation in safety plans, quality control measures, and creation of RFI’s and submittals. Responsibilities include managing project schedules, coordinating with field supervisors, performing labor control, vendor selection, subcontractor management, and executing job cost control measures. The position requires 5-7 years of relevant experience, OSHA certification, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5-7 years of Construction Management work experience
- OSHA Certification
- Experience with estimating/project management/managing specialty scopes of construction
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in team environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask, critical think, and problem-solve
- Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with commercial interior construction
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Construction Management
