Job Summary
Respond promptly to inbound leads and prospects through outbound calls, texts, and emails while re-engaging aged quotes. Conduct needs-based conversations to identify personal lines coverage opportunities, present tailored options, and convert quotes into bound business. Bind coverage accurately, collect documentation, and conduct onboarding calls to ensure clean handoffs to the service team. Cross-sell additional products such as home, auto, and umbrella coverage to existing clients while maintaining complete records in the agency management system.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas General Lines Property & Casualty license or Personal Lines P&C license
- Previous insurance sales experience
- Demonstrated success in a sales environment with measurable goals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Genuine comfort speaking with customers by phone
- Strong prospecting, follow-up, and closing skills
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and maintain an organized pipeline
- Ability to work independently while following agency processes
- Strong computer, email, CRM, and agency management system skills
- High level of integrity when handling confidential customer and financial information
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Personal auto insurance meeting agency requirements
- Approximately 75%+ of your time will be spent in the office
- During your first month, expect to be in the office approximately 100% of the time
- Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required for networking events, client meetings, or community activities
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of Personal Lines insurance sales experience
- Experience selling within a Farmers agency
- Experience with AgencyZoom, Salesforce, RingCentral, or similar systems
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Existing referral relationships or a strong network in the DFW market
- Experience building a personal book of business
- Experience with Home, Auto, Umbrella, or other Personal Lines products
