Job Summary
Coordinate scheduling, supervise and train other sleep center staff, and perform polysomnography and respiratory testing on patients with suspected sleep disorders. Prepare patients for procedures, apply electrodes, monitor safety during tests, and perform technical troubleshooting and artifact elimination. Complete technical reports, process patient charges, maintain medical records, and stock supplies. Requires current Ohio respiratory care license, valid CRT or RRT credential, BRPT registry eligibility, and one year of polysomnography and critical care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved two year Respiratory Therapy Program
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences or related field
- Current Ohio license in to practice respiratory care
- Valid respiratory credential (CRT or RRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Registry Eligible for BRPT exam
- Current CPR certification
- One year of experience in Polysomnography
- One year of critical care experience
- Effective computer operations and technology skills
