Job Summary
Assemble, modify, and reassemble electronic components, subassemblies, and chassis using operational method sheets, drawings, schematics, and assembly equipment. Perform maintenance on fixturing, including calibration, preventive, and corrective tasks, while recognizing nonconformities and adhering to all safety and ISO practices. Work on semi-routine assignments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, adapting daily to changing priorities and supporting new product introduction goals. Communicate openly within the team and may assist in training others on established processes.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform basic electro/mechanical assembly skills
- Component identification and the ability to read technical assembly documentation
- Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions
- Ability to recognize nonconformities
- Basic PC knowledge
- Ability to effectively work in a team environment
- Models positive and professional work ethics
- Considers the impact to quality when making decisions
- 2+ years electro-mechanical assembly (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly
- Proven ability and experience maintaining flexibility and being able to adapt in a team environment
- Knowledge and understanding of ESD practices
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Soldering skills
- Knowledge of SAP
