Job Summary
Manage inventory by moving, locating, counting, and pulling materials across various locations while performing necessary software transactions. Execute physical and administrative tasks for storing and distributing parts, supplies, and equipment, including driving a company truck to transport items. Examine and stock materials on manufacturing lines, prepare kitting packages for assembly, service repair, and sales orders, and conduct daily cycle counts to resolve discrepancies. Ensure security and accountability of goods, communicate issues to planners and buyers, and respond to requests professionally. Requires 1-3 years of material handling experience, basic SAP knowledge, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years experience in storeroom, warehousing, or other material handling position
- Basic knowledge of material handling/logistics systems and SAP
- Experience with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to carry 30lbs
- Ability to push 50lbs
- Ability to pull 50lbs
- Standing 25%
- Walking 50%
- Sitting 25%
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Capability to respond quickly and professionally to changing requirements
- Ability to accurately count and maintain inventory
- PC skills; ability to learn new software applications
- Ability to work on a team and focus on satisfying internal customer needs
- Knowledge and understanding of ESD practices
- Required to achieve certification in specific area
- Minimal problem-solving and investigation
- Works under direct supervision
- Must be available for 6 months (Agency role)
